my Truth

I haven't been here in a while, so I thought I'd say...

...that I am probably just going to lurk around. I have lost all motivation to write, but if ever that comes back to me I will post what I manage to scribble down. I yearn to compose prose and poetry, but nothing comes out. It's like I've been on writers block for over half a year, great.
Besides that, I have no talent, whatsoever, in any other domain.
I plan to upload a few pictures I took on my mediterannean cruise that, to my eye, are actually quite impressive. I can at least share them here, or that is what I tell myself.
Besides that, I really am not an artist even though I have a large artistic bone. That was never kindled enough to be able to grow, and now life has taken me away, for many reasons we -won't- get into, from developing anything that I previously had interest in: drawing and photography. Mostly a great loss of motivation and confidence, and with that comes no desire to try and revive what I have lost. I am just going with the flow and posing no objections to where life is pulling me.
Who knows if ever I'll get back into any type of artistic creation, but that is not my concern for now. I guess my 'revival' of my dA is to just open up the possibility of art becoming a part of my life again. A prominent, active, expressive part of my life again, shall we say.
It's not like I had any talent before hand, either, but I never claimed to have any. I just like to be expressionistic, it's always worked for me and for all that goes on inside of me, I need many different ways of let out. Maybe this will re-become one I had used earlier, but if not I just need to accept it is part of the past. For now I am just opening the door a crack, and wondering if the Wind will blow it open or slam it shut.
Just wanted to announce my position on dA for now, and state that I'll be mostly, if not totally, a lurker for the time being. That's all, really...

...and now that saying is done.

Maybe we'll keep up contact this way? If so, it's definatly a big, great motivation for me to keep up with DA this time ^.^
Now I'm into writing, it's developed into a huge passion ...while drawing has some-what kinda-really died off. Maybe I'll get into it again, who knows.
There is always photography I can pursue, hah.
HOW IS LIFE FOR YOU?! AND WORK?! It's been ages since I've known anything about you, so tell me where you are with everything!!

As for me, I'm still in France. Attacking my second year of studies. I should be passing my exams and getting me diploma that allows me to go to University here in France in June 2006. If all goes as planned, I'll be here for the next three years finishing my studies. And I am as happy as can be! Life is never better :D

Aww thats SO awsome to hear!!! I read that you were still in france after I asked the question.. so i was all like "Der Sarah" HAHA!
Im SOOO happy for you! And thats AWSOME you are into writing now! Are you going to post some of your work?! Id love to read it! And yeah photography is another awsome way to be creative. Have you seen Emily's work?! She is like.. fan-freekin-tastic!

My life, FINALLY, is starting to shape into the kinda thing I always dreamed it would be!
Jeremy and I are now out and living ON OUR OWN! No more smelly housemates! Its SO awsome! We only moved in like, last week! hehe
Work is getting a hellavalot better. I got a promotion last week, i get a pay rise, new job title and.. more work to do :P But its good!
I also get offered new jobs like, once a month! Its so weird! I have been offered full time graphis design work from a apple mac company over here called Digilife, a construction company and an archetectural company. I turned them all down tho.

Other then that, I pretty much just hang out with jemmy, draw and work :P Oh and chat to my mate Kat! I went over to see her at the start of this year (she lives on the other side of australia) and it was SO awsome! We were going to go over again in november but with the move and everything we just couldnt afford it.

SO TELL ME ABOUT YOU!

Emily told me you were moving, so congratulations on your new house- finally no more room mates! My house warming gift is finally deemed appropriate, lol.
Life sounds really awesome for you, and I'm so happy for you. You totally deserve it. Congratulations on your promotion, that is always a good thing. It's great to hear you are getting offered so many jobs, even tho you turned them down. I'm so happy to hear everything is going so swimmingly for you.
And! You're getting married next year, right?! Emily told me that too.

I will definatly be posting my writings here, for sure. It's about the only "art" I do now adays. Maybe I'll get into photography again, too. And since I've been back at DA, I've been motivated to start drawing again. Hmm, we'll see. Life for me is busy now. I'm currently procrastinating against studying, I'm so awful. I do have a two week break starting this friday, so then I'll really have time to study. Let's hope I can force myself, hah.
As for me, nothing too too new, I guess. Just continuing my studies and loving life in France. I visited the states this summer for 6 weeks, which was nice. I'm going back for two weeks during our Christmas break, so yay.
I've gotten into boxing and salsa now. I box three times a week and go to salsa every friday. I -love- boxing, and salsa is so much fun. They are great stress releasers from school and such. I'm also working on getting my French drivers liscense, if ever I get time to study for that.
All in all, life is great. Still single, but that is nothing new. I've got a little love life story, but that is for another day, lol.

So yay, that is me in a nut-shell ^-^ I'll work on getting some artwork up soon, erm, shall I say writing pieces, or whatever. Heh. I'm still always checking out your work! Oh! And how is that story of yours coming along?! Remember way back when you started writing a story, and you sent it to me to read and stuff, edit I think was part of it?! Did ya ever continue it?! And all.
Oh yea, and what IS your job?! What exactly -do- you do?!

Hey wana know somehting really funny, im starting boxing up in a few weeks! And Kendo next year! HAHA! I CANT WAIT! Have you lost weight from doing it? Last time i remember talking about this you said you werent loosing weight but you were feeling awsome!
Im really self consious now, like 100% more then I used to be, so im DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT.. seriously!

My work.. sounds alot lamer then what it actually IS. lol!
I work for the SwanCare Group. Its an old folks home.. the biggest in Western Australia. I am the head graphic designer / web designer and web developer. I also run the staff newsletter (we emply over 500 people or something.. alot anyways) and I am also starting to be incharge of the community newspaper for Swans. It gets sent not only to the residents but to the rest of the suburb that Swans is in. Its a HUGE job cause im always terrified im going to make a really stupid spelling mistake and get reemed form like.. a billion people :P
There are ALOT of fussy old people who love to complain.

So yeah, thats what I do. LOL! Jeremy also works there as the Applications Developer. He makes programs for the library, and for like.. billing residents and stuff like that!

No i never did write anymore of that story.. tho I am going to start planning it out again. Kat and I are going to try and get back into writing as she is going to try and publish the novel she is writing later on in the future.. so im really writing to give her some support as I dont ever intend on publishing anything :P

Yep gettin hitched this time next year! It seems like a long way away but i KNOW its going to come in a heartbeat!
I have a few mates comming over from the other side of australia to be there aswell so its going to be INCREDIBAL! We are having a beach wedding.. and apart from that.. i dont have any more details planned out :P Ohh other then we are having the reception/dinner at mine and jems favourits chineese restaraunt! LOL! Its cheap but the food is SO nice and it was one of the first places me and jem went on a date! hehe!!

I DO hope you get into drawing again! I always LOVED your work!
I cant wait to read some of ur stuff tho! I always said ud make an awsome writer! (it always felt like I was really there when I read ur emails)

Anyways babe, i have work tomorrow and its almost 12 here.. EEK.. and I have a face mask on and I havent even washed my cloths for tomorrow so i really should be dragging myself away from my computer!
